Today I have watch Wall-E with friends at Alamanda. We all love the wall-e because he's cute, simple, romantic and love to collect something that he likes. When he is doing his activity, he found a plant and he collect it. One day, he falling in love with Eve who comes to earth for searching signs of plant life. And when he invite Eve to come his unique house, he show the plant to Eve and after that Eve recover. Since that, Wall-E panic and try to wake Eve back...

"Babi Gosong"

Its a favourite food in Indonesia. It taste smooth and delicious...

Its a recipe from our generation and its still the best until now.

Ingredients:

500 gr pork fillet

1 ons ginger-root

1/2 ons saffron

1 gr chili

8 grain garlic

4 grain shallots

100 gr sugar

3 spoons salt soya

5 spoons sweet soya

2 lemons

Directions:

1. all spices mix and stir.

2. the put the pork fillet to inside and left it 15 minutes.

3. last, roast it until have a good smell.

that's why I'm taking graphic design course.. it's a reason 'coz - i hate essay -

now I've an assignment that's the creative book.

I've to write about middle eastern culture, it's the continue essay from last semester..

For this assignment, the theme that I chosen from the seven themes is "Culture, Space, and Place". That make me interested of it is want to know about tradition in each of countries such as how they life in another place with a different environment from the original. From that, I want to talk about "The Tradition/Culture of Islam". Inside of my topic I will talking about the forbidden rules of Islam and the duty of a Islam in fashion world such as comparison of how they dress from past to nowadays, food and drinks, relationship of different religion, transgender, and etc.

1. Where does the history background of Islam come from?

2. Do the teenagers still follows the Islam's rule?

3. As I know Islam is straight religion, is it got punishment if who did mistake of the rule?

First that I will do for this topic are researches from some books, Internet, and find some articles that is related to my topic. After that I will come out with a questioner and interview. And the target audience is teenagers. Do days still follow the tradition/culture of Islam?.

Anyway about "a theme that interests me from Design Research Themes", there are have 7 themes, those are:

1. Design for Need | Sustainable Design.

- designing for designing needs; social; cultural; and etc.

2. Conventions of Social Representation.

- physical and social representation; representation by design; multicultural grounds.

3. Meaning! Semiotic in Visual Communication.

- semiotics as a field of study, discipline and its application in design and advertising; and creative play of sign, codes and structures.

4. Functionalism in Typography Design for Printed Matter or for Digital Format.

- the role typography plays in the visual communication industry; case study; Paper and Pixel: tool shaping processes.

5. Culture, Space and Place.

- how to articulate a sense of place. (ex: Malays in India; Chinese in Malaysia; etc.)

6. New Media and Its Impact in Design.

- how has the emergence of new media and technologies shaped design and changed designer's roles?

7. Media, Truth and Perceptions: propaganda and persuasion in the media.

- How are these contents used, presented and manipulated in visual forms to convey the intended message to the public?

From those all 7 themes, I'm thinking to choose number 5, it's about Culture, Space and Place. That make me interested of it is want to know about tradition in each of countries and how they life in another place with a different environment from the original. I will try to find out the interesting article that related with this theme.

This is my first post since I started classes with Teresa in 2-weeks ago. Why? It is because of the project of design studies class, which is do a Concept Book. I worry it because only got 3 more weeks to done it and the presentation is in week 7. A theme that I chose for the concept book is "Traditional String Asian Musical Instrument", that is all about the traditional string instrument in Asia. Hopefully I can finish it before the due date come and I do the best.

emm...When I came to class for the first time, I thought it will become a serious subject, but the fact is fun and I enjoy the class with Teresa and her assistant. Although, my english is not good, but I'm trying to understand what that Teresa presentation in class and I will preview the PPT Presentation at home. BBQ dinner'

Normally in Saturday should be holiday, but I got Marketing class for the 1st week :(
At 8am I wake up for gotta go class at 9 and 'coz of rainning, me and my friends can't come to class. Althoungh we disappointed of it because already early wake up, we still happy 'coz today we've plan for chill out together to KL :D

First we went to KLCC watched 'Vantage Point' movie and we got 3rd seats line from the screen.. but it's not problem 'coz the movie was awesome and to tighten. After that, we went to Kinokuniya for a moment because of got some friends wanna buy a novel. Next before we went to Ampang Point for BBQ dinner, we bought some fresh fruits for having on the way.
For a few months we got long holiday, that day is the 1st day for this semester going out and have fun with all my friends whose took same course. Below I got some photos with my friends :D
